Uploading your models:
There are two ways to submit your models to SketchUpModels.com.

1. Submission Form: If you would like to upload your work as you produce it, use our form and attach nessary files for review. Include your full name, a brief description of the models, and your asking price for each piece. You may also make your work available for free. For information and suggestions on pricing, see Model Pricing below. Include your information to receive your monthly royalty check by mail or provide a PayPal account number. If you choose PayPal, you will receive monthly sales reports via the e-mail address you used to make the submission. By submitting your work, you consent to the terms of our hosting agreement.

Your product hosting agreement with Sketchupmodels.com is at will. That means you are free to remove your products and post them elsewhere or modify them as you see fit. Please read the Tech Help FAQ for any removal questions.

If you are not interested in profiting from your work, we have an area on our site dedicated to free models. Set the price as $0.00 and other designers can download your work for free. For the rest of us there are some important thoughts on…

Model Pricing:
Please take a few minutes to browse our site and see how other models are priced. A search of our most recent uploads is a great place to start. A general rule of thumb is, the more time you’ve spent on the model, the more it should cost. Models on SketchUpModels.com range in price from $5.00 from the simplest pieces to over a hundred dollars for complex professional quality models.

Remember, we only make money when you do, so we certainly want to make sure your models are selling for the highest possible price. We also consider how many people may want this particular model, and whether a lower price might help to boost your sales.

One concern that we have is keeping prices relatively even throughout the site. In other words, one exquisite model cannot sell for $60.00 while another of similar quality sells for $15.00. Ultimately the market will drive the prices.

We reserve the right to refuse your model if we deem the price you set to be counterproductive to the aims of the site. We always seek to offer great value to our customers while getting the best prices for our clients. If the price you’ve set is a problem, don’t worry. We will send you an e-mail requesting that you reevaluate your price. Simply reply to the e-mail with a revised price. If you are not willing to change your price, do nothing. Unfortunately, we won’t be able to publish the model, but will delete it from our database.

If you wish to make your model available for free download, just enter 0.00 for the price. However, we will still review these models for quality and may refuse to publish these models at our discretion.
